Work to begin on the Nomination and Election phase of the 10th SPA Chapter Officers.

0820 07-17 Second Reunion of the 10th Security Police Association opens in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Academy Hotel hosting the Second Reunion. Welcoming reception held from 04:00/pm to 07:00/pm Tower 3 Conference Room, The Academy Hotel. Calvin "Cal" Adkins, Norman "Norm" Hammack, and Larry Johnson were recognized for serving with the 10th Air Police Squadron, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany between 1953 and 1959.
0821 07-18 10th SPA Second Reunion departs The Academy Hotel for visit to the U. S. Air Force Academy and the 10th Security Forces Squadron.
0822 07-19 10th SPA Second Reunion departs The Academy Hotel for the two tours planned for the day. Tour 1 goes to Pikes Peak, Tour 2 goes to the Garden of the Gods.
0823 07-19 10th SPA Second Reunion Banquet opens hosted by The Academy Hotel from 06:00pm to 10:00pm. Sixteen 10th Security Forces Squadron members join the 10th SPA for the Banquet. Major Phillip Born, Commander 10th SFSq and MSgt William Farnand, First Sergeant among the squadron members from the 10th SFSq. 10th SPA Officers for the 2008/2010 term of office were recognized and seated. Change of Command style ceremony held for the President's chair. After the Banquet everyone adjorned to the Tower 3 Conference Room to share conversation and the squadron's history.
0824 07-20 The 10th SPA held a live meeting at 09:00/am. The meeting was joined with the Forum meeting already in progress. The 10th SPA Second Reunion was declared a great success. The Third Reunion destination was discussed. The membership indicating San Antonio, Texas and Lackland AFB with the Air Force Security Forces Museum.
0825 07-20 10:30/am both meetings were closed by President Michael Lanphear. The 10th SPA Second Reunion was also called to a close. Everyone departed for home. Great time shared by all. Attendance 29 (10th SPA Members) and 25 (Spouses, Guest and Family members). (54) Total in attendance.

0922 06-23 An internet phone system, provided by T Mobile, through the concerted efforts of Larry Pasetti was dispatched to the 10th SFSq. The system will provide free calling home for the deployed troops of the 10th SFSq. The service has been secured for the next year. The system will first go out with the deployment cycle, July 2009. 0930 10-01 The annual fundraiser "Cue Ball Syndrome Challenge (CBSC) 2009" was opened this date. CBSC 2009 to run from October 01 to December 31, 2009. The fund raising goal of $2,000.00 minimum was established as the target for this year's event.

1011 04-17 Membership votes approval to have the Foundation Group, Inc. contracted to accomplish all paperwork in regards to the incorporation of the 10th Security Police Association and the establishment and incorporation of the 10th SPA Foundation. The 10th SPA Foundation to be registered as 501 (c-3) with the IRS as the charitable organization side of the 10th SPA.

1016 05-01 Incorporation paperwork received, this date, from the State of Louisiana. The 10th Security Police Association is now officially the 10th Security Police Association, Inc.. Articles of Incorporation to be included on the Constitution, By-Laws Page of the web site.
1017 05-01 Incorporation paperwork received, this date, from the State of Louisiana for the 10th SPA Foundation. The 10th SPA Foundation will fail to meet the stringent guidelines of the Internal Revenue Service as indicated by the foundation Group, Inc.. The association's secretary will now pursue to dissolve the 10th SPA Foundation through the State of Louisiana, and the IRS because of an assigned FEIN (Federal Employee Indentification Number).

Last minute details worked out with the Holiday Inn Riverwalk Hotel. Last minute details worked out with Lackland AFB and the Security Forces Academy for onsite visit. Hospitality Room refreshments and snacks secured.
1021 06-10 Third Reunion of the 10th Security Police Association opens. The American Flag, Air Force Flag along with the Squadron historical Guide-ons and the 10th SPA Guide-on are unfurled and presented for the duration of the reunion.
1022 06-10 6:00/pm Welcoming Reception gets underway with a flair and flavor of San Antonio. The Mariachi ensemble of "Mariachi Las Coronelas" entertains the attendees. 7:00/pm Silent Auction conducted by Otis "Scotty" Scott. Silent Auction raises $700.00 for the 10th SPA/SFS Fund in support of the active duty troops of the 10th SFSq.
1023 06-11 8:00/am Reunion Attendees depart hotel for Lackland Air Force Base. 9:00/am viewing of a Basic Military Training Graduation begins. 10:00/am BMT Graduation concludes. 10:30 visit to the Security Forces Academy for tour and viewing of the F.A.T.S. (Fire Arms Training Simulator). 11:30 Tour of the Security Forces Museum. 12:30 Lunch and shopping at the Main Bx of Lackland AFB. 2:00/pm departure from Lackland AFB for hotel. 3:00/pm attendees arrive at hotel to continue festivities. Five fifteen passenger vans provided by the 10th SPA for the attendees to remain together as a group.
1024 06-12 Attendees allowed an off day from the reunion to partake of San Antonio, Texas.
1025 06-12 9:00/am meeting of the current and new officers for the 10th SPA conducted. Meeting called by out-going President Michael "Mike" Lanphear.
1025 06-12 5:00/pm Banquet festivities begin with group photo and Pass & ID photos. Presentation of the colors and guide-ons and seating of the new officers for the 10th SPA ahead of the meal service conducted. 6:30/pm Banquet meal service begins. 7:30/pm Guest Speaker Carol Poynor takes the floor. 8:00/pm TSgt Mitch Raney takes the floor as second Guest Speaker. 8:30/pm Banquet concludes and the DJ opens the dancing portion of the reunion. 11:00/pm DJ festivities conclude.
1026 06-13 Meeting of the members of the 10th SPA present to suggest the next location of choice for the fourth reunion conducted. Meeting concludes with the following suggested locations for the fourth reunion: (Dayton, Ohio), (Huntsville, Alabama), (Colorado Springs, Colorado), (Omaha, Nesbraska), (Las Vegas, Nevada).
