As we are all very well aware of the current world situation, much of the United States Military Forces are deployed in the theatres of Afghanistan and Iraq.  There is no question as to the mission our Armed Forces are accomplishing in these two areas of the world.  Many troops are deployed in the effort of the mission.  With these deployments comes hardships for the families that wait back home while their loved ones serve.

In Support of Our Troops and by unanimous vote of the 10th Security Police Association Officers, the 10th SPA has elected to adopt the 10th Security Forces Squadron, USAF Academy.  This is the Squadron we all served at one point in time, be it Air Police, Security Police or Security Forces, also be it Spangdahlem AB, RAF Alconbury or the USAF Academy.  These are our Brothers and Sisters of the Squadron.  They are tasked with deployments in both theatres and their families face the hardships as can be expected of a military family.  As we were young troops ourselves at one time, we realize the hardships these families can face.

How can the 10th Security Police Association help?  The 10th SPA is currently working with the First Sergeant of the 10th SFSq to acquire the needs of these families.  As this page represents the needs, the needs will be posted.  All information will be placed on this page and the means of how the 10th SPA can help will be posted as well.  Always remember that these troops could very well be our own brothers or sisters, sons or daughters, or grandchildren.
